Felding HochalmCulinary delights on the alpine plateau
The Felding Hochalm is located on the Gadaunerer alpine plateau, above the tree line and surrounded by alpine pastures and alpine roses. After a one and a half hours hike you can enjoy the fantastic panoramic view as well as home-made products at our alpine cabin. The Feldinghütte cabin is well-known for its delicious blueberry and cranberry liqueurs, home-made schnapps, hearty alpine snacks and home-made cakes. There is also a playground for kids.
Via ferrataClimbing for experts and beginners
Bad Hofgastein offers numerous possibilities to combine hiking and climbing. At the Schlossalm in Bad Hofgastein there are altogether six via ferrata of all levels of difficulty. Furthermore, climbers can enjoy climbing to their heart’s content in the climbing garden on the eight metres-high wall with seven routes or improve their sure-footedness on a special course.
